Stopping Medical Treatment Too Soon

Stopping Medical Treatment Too Soon

It is a commonly held belief that if a person stops receiving medical treatment for his/her injury, then they are no longer injured, but now they are healed.

If there are significant gaps in treatment, this suggests you are healed from the initial injury and must have received a new injury that was caused by something other than the motor vehicle accident.

The doctor should be the one who releases you from further treatment or tells you there is nothing more that can be done to improve your condition.
